These two statements alone placed side by side are sufficient to make one think that this is a person whose life is crying out for a documentary, that is, Hedy Lamarr who was born in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. And then we haven’t even spoken about her husbands, what she learned from whom, and how her story ended. Why is the face of everybody who talks about her so sad at the end of the documentary, why are former colleagues and experts such as Peter Bogdanovich so down in the mouth when giving interviews, when in fact they are talking about a beautiful woman who even had an influence on history, an impact on the Cuban missile crisis, the Vietnam War and naval forces, who invented the double-frequency signalling system, and at the same time wore stunning costumes, performed with a regal bearing and gloried in her femininity?
