Baszk filmet ritkán látni a magyar mozikban. Az Ander és Yul magányos főhőse visszatér Baszkföldre – erre a nem éppen veszélytelen vidékre –, ám nem tudni, mit keres ott, és az is nyilvánvaló, hogy maga a hazatérés sem könnyű számára. Ana Díez érzékeny, csöndes, életszerető filmjének legfontosabb és egyben leghosszabb, érzelmekkel telített jelenete tulajdonképpen egy együttlétet ábrázol, méghozzá olyan módon, hogy joggal nevezhetnénk a filmművészet egyik legszebb erotikus jelenetének. Azt mutatja meg, milyen is a valódi intimitás. 

Basque films are rarely screened in Hungarian theatres. The solitary protagonist of Ander & Yul returns to the Basque region, a place not without its dangers, but he has no idea what he is doing there and it is evident that the homecoming is far from easy for him. The most important, and at the same time longest scene replete with emotions in Ana Díez’s sensitive, contemplative, life-affirming picture in fact depicts a moment of intimacy done in such a way that makes it one of the finest erotic scenes in cinema. It shows what genuine intimacy is.
